Southwestern introduces new volleyball coach with community college ties

Two Spartans Earn All-Region Volleyball Honors
November 13, 2025Two members of the Southwestern volleyball program earned postseason honors from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) this week, as sophomores Skyelar Lawal and Cadence Perkins were both recognized on the 2025 Division II All-Region Team.

2025 Volleyball Schedule and Roster Released for Year Two of Maitlen Era
July 24, 2025Entering her second season at the helm, Head Coach Brianna Maitlen has laid the groundwork for a stronger, more competitive Spartan Volleyball program. With a deeper roster and a full offseason of development, Southwestern is poised to take a step forward in 2025. The Spartans will be tested early with several road trips before settling into ICCAC play in September.
