Spartans Earn More Than 80 Honors in ICCAC Spring 2026 Academic All-Region Release

The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) announced its Spring 2026 Academic All-Region honorees on Thursday, recognizing more than 2,500 student-athletes across the conference for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester.

Southwestern Community College proudly placed more than 70 student-athletes across multiple programs on the Academic All-Region list, highlighting the Spartans' continued commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as in competition.

The Academic All-Region distinction recognizes student-athletes who meet or exceed conference academic standards while balancing the demands of coursework, athletics, and campus involvement. Student-athletes qualify for recognition using either semester or cumulative GPA, whichever is higher.

First Team Academic All-Region honors are awarded to student-athletes who maintain a 3.50–4.00 GPA, while Second Team selections represent those earning a 3.00–3.49 GPA, in accordance with ICCAC academic standards.
