CRESTON, Iowa — Southwestern Community College volleyball was well-represented on the 2025 Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Division II All-Region teams, as sophomores Cadence Perkins and Skyelar Lawal earned Honorable Mention All-Region recognition for their standout play this fall.
Perkins, a setter, was the on-court director for the Spartan offense, showcasing consistent leadership and steady decision-making throughout the season. Her ability to control tempo and distribute the ball effectively made her a key piece in Southwestern's attack.
Lawal, a middle blocker/opposite, was a force at the net on both ends of the floor, providing timely kills and strong blocking presence.
The ICCAC announced its All-Region awards on November 13, highlighting the top performers across the league. Iowa Central's Talya Sampson was named Player of the Year, Carly Wazac of Kirkwood earned Freshman of the Year, and Sara Horn of Iowa Central was recognized as Coach of the Year.
Perkins and Lawal's selections mark another strong showing for Southwestern volleyball within the competitive ICCAC landscape, reflecting the program's continued growth and determination.
