Head coach Darryl Fletcher and the Southwestern Men's Basketball team have announced its official roster for the 2025-26 season.

This year's roster features 17 total players, one returning player from last year's team. Sophomore Theo Alexandersson Ohnell (Sodertalje, Sweden), he will bring veteran leadership to this year's group.

Coach Fletchers squad features incoming sophomore transfers Justine De La Cruz (Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic/Georgia Southwestern), Alec Belter (Houston, TX/Seminole State), Luka Pecelj (Belgrade, Serbia/Cuesta College) and Niko Wilson (Augusta, GA/Moberly Area) that bring a season of college basketball experience to the team.

Ethan Crawford who was the team manager last year will be joining as a player for his sophomore year. 

Coach Fletchers incoming freshman class features a variety of players at both the guard and forward positions. Micah Hines (Douglasville, GA/New Manchester HS), Noa Daquet (Paris, France/Winston Salem Christin), Michael Smith (Atlanta, GA/Marietta), Ofek Akrish (Yavne, Israel), Xavier Eddington (Byron Bay, Australia/Combine Academy), Frae Wilkins (Franklin, GA/Franklin County HS), and Bosko Todorovic (Belgrade, Serbia).

Coach Fletcher had this to say about the incoming roster: "I'm very excited about this upcoming class. We have a mix of older guys with college playing experience and some very talented high school and prep players. I'm looking forward to getting them on campus and starting the process to becoming a team."

The Spartans are set to open the 2025-26 campaign November 1st in Kansas City, MO against Metro CC.
