Brooklyn Housley, a graduating senior at Wayne Community High School, has signed to golf for the Southwestern Spartans next fall. Housley, heavy into the agriculture field, is an FFA officer and earned her Iowa FFA Degree. Housley is also a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll in high school. Housley plans to become an animal chiropractor after her time at Southwestern and looks to transfer to Palmer College of Chiropractic.
"Brooklyn hasn't been playing long, but she has the ability," says head golf coach Doug North. "It'll be fun to get her on campus, and get her 100 percent focused on golf and academics. She is going to develop at a rapid rate and really enjoy her time at Southwestern."
