Creston, IA—Stanberry R-11 High School's Randi Brea Jenson is headed to Creston this fall to begin her collegiate softball career with the Southwestern Community College Spartans.

During high school, Jenson, the daughter of Michelle Minton of Stanberry, Missouri, achieved all-conference; all-region; all-district; and all-state during her softball career.

Danny Jensen, Spartan head softball coach, looks forward to have her bat and throwing arm in his Spartan team's arsenal.

"Brea is a first-team all-state catcher who has great commitment and dedication," Jensen explained. "She has an outstanding arm for throwing out runners and exhibits hitting power to give us the long ball threat in the middle of our line-up."

Jenson will graduate high school in May 2025. She is the daughter of Michelle Minton of Stanberry, Missouri.
