The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) named its 2021 Division I All-Region teams and a number of Spartans made the list, including two Spartan standouts--Carlos Muniz and Colby Page--being named to the first team. 

According to the ICCAC website, freshman catcher Carlos Muniz of Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, had one of, if not the best bat in the conference with a .399 average and a slugging percentage of .713. Muniz had 13 home runs and 43 RBI to go along with 17 doubles.

The designated hitter honoree for the ICCAC First Team went to Southwestern freshman Colby Page of Milo, who had an average of .381 and slugged .664. He hit nine home runs and drove in 31 batters. According to the ICCAC, he only got better in conference play as his average went up to .418 with an OBP of .454, leading to an OPS of 1.190.

Other Spartans making the list included freshman infielder Ernies Lozada of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, second team; sophomore pitcher Kelvin Roman of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, honorable mention; freshman pitcher Noah Carpenter of Kearney, Nebraska, honorable mention; freshman infielder Julio Goncalves of Wesley Chapel, Florida, honorable mention; and freshman infielder Giancarlos Figueroa of Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, honorable mention.

Player of the year honors for the conference went to Evan O'Toole from Iowa Western and the defensive player of the year was Dave Janssen from Indian Hills.
