Longtime Southwestern Community College athletic director and coach Bill Krejci, now of the Chicago area, will be back on campus on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, as the guest speaker for the college's annual Athletic Fundraiser. Since Krejci retired from Southwestern in 2014, he has remained close to many at the college and in the Creston area. In 2019, Krejci conducted coaching seminars for the Mexican National Baseball Federation.

Throughout his career, Krejci has coached 32 MLB players on USA National Teams. Krejci has been inducted into the St. Laurence High School Athletic Hall-of-Fame (1987), Northwest Missouri State Athletic Hall-of-Fame (1996), and the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association Hall-of-Fame (2002).
