Jewett, a 5-foot, 6-inch outside hitter was a four-time all-conference volleyball selection for the Seymour Warriors. She was named all-district three times and made the all-state team one time. Jewett is a multi-sport athlete at Seymour playing basketball and softball as well. She received all-conference honors in basketball all four years and all-district for two years. In softball, she has been named all-conference three years, all-district three years, and all-state three years.

In addition to athletics, Jewett has excelled academically being named to the High Honor Roll and also being inducted into the National Honor Society.

Spartan Head Coach Casey Quiggle explained Jewett as extremely athletic and said she has excelled in all sports she has played.

"Riley brings a lot of athleticism that will assist on offense and defense this year," Quiggle stated. "Besides excelling in athletics, Riley also excels in the classroom which is something we take pride in at Southwestern."
